We invite your young ones to continue playing, creating, and forming lifelong friendships this winter and spring. In addition to creating characters and scripts, young actors have opportunities to produce their own work. Each class has a focus that varies from musical theater to sketch, improv, scene study, film/TV, and more, but are all rooted in the Atlantic Technique.

Perfect for both returning actors and newcomers, this course blends acting techniques with collaborative storytelling. Participants will co-create an original or adapted short play, infusing their unique characters and voice into the script. This course is tailored to expand acting vocabulary, ignite imagination, foster creativity, and cultivate a love for performance. Dive in and let your theatrical voice shine! Participants will enhance their acting vocabulary and nurturing their passion for performance. Whether you’re building on prior experience or starting fresh, this course promises a dynamic and enriching theatrical journey.

Tailored for young actors who have a passion for singing and dancing, this workshop offers the opportunity to be cast in and workshop a vibrant adapted musical. Perfect for both actors familiar with the craft and newcomers, this class will explore the foundations of the Atlantic Acting Technique through the lens of short One-Act plays. Participants will explore the complexities of one-acts, developing their skills in “action” and “moment”. Through a collaborative process, they’ll explore the rehearsal process and take direction. As a culmination, participants will rehearse and present a workshop performance of a One-Act. Some memorization is required.

New and returning students join to advance their skills with the Atlantic Acting Technique. Our Young Actors Conservatory program is an excellent way for actors to develop their skill set, gain experience and be part of an ensemble. Drawing from the renowned Practical Aesthetics taught at the Atlantic Acting School’s Full-Time Conservatory and NYU-Tisch undergraduate Drama program, this course offers both fresh insights and deeper dives into Scene Study & Technique. Whether you’re building on previous experience or starting anew, you’ll explore innovative ways to embody characters and tell their stories. Engage in interactive exercises and games that refine your acting skills, connect with your voice, and amplify your creativity. For those opting for the full-day program (11am-2:30pm), a musical theater class follows Scene Study, immersing actors in staging, choreography, and vocal arrangements, all with a keen focus on character development.

A deep exploration of the Atlantic Technique, Practical Aesthetics, taught at the Atlantic Acting School’s Full-Time Conservatory and NYU-Tisch undergraduate Drama program, this course challenges actors to “make the difficult easy, the easy habitual, and the habitual beautiful.” The half-day program (11am-2pm) delves into Scene Study & Technique, Voice, and Movement, providing a robust foundation for aspiring actors. For those seeking a comprehensive experience, the full-day program (11am-5:00pm) expands the curriculum with two complementary classes, enhancing the actor’s toolkit and depth of craft. Dive into specialized classes like our Film/TV Casting Intensive, Classical Monologues, Improv, Devising, Moment Lab, and Audition Technique. Join us on this journey, guided by experienced instructors, as you unlock new dimensions of your acting potential.
