Shakespeare

A technical approach to Shakespeare immerses students in the nature and practice of poetry. Students learn to revolutionize the imagination and to investigate the experience of passion. Students are introduced to the foundational principles and tools of acting Shakespeare. Actors create a “score” as part of their preparation and use this technique to unlock the action and tactics embedded in every Shakespeare scene, exploring the tactical topography of the scene and responding organically to Shakespeare’s rich imagery.
