Georgia Gabriele is an actor and creator, born, bred, and based in New York City. She is both a founding member and the Development Director of Bluebird Theatre Company. Most recently, she had the honor of playing Angustias in their inaugural production of The House of Bernarda Alba. She holds a BM in vocal performance from The Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University (2013) and graduated from Atlantic Acting School’s Full-Time Conservatory program in December 2019. She regularly trains with SITI Company in the Suzuki and Viewpoints methods and completed a two-week Advanced Intensive with them in the summer of 2019. Other recent theatre credits include: Sweeney Todd, All in the Timing, and As You Like It. Georgia endeavors to create art that brings audiences face to face with aspects of the human condition that are often misunderstood or ignored, such as addiction, sexuality, trauma, gender roles, and mental illness. She hopes to bring to life the grittiness and hidden truths in everything from Shakespeare to contemporary work, with the ultimate goal being individual and world-wide healing. When she isn’t on stage or in front of a camera, Georgia likes to pick heavy things up and put them down again. Georgia currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband, step-daughter, and four cats.
