Mikey Rosenbaum

Mikey Rosenbaum is a professional actor, singer, playwright and composer and when he’s not lost on a mountain traveling, Mikey is busy making melodies and crafting theater experiences for audiences of all ages. As a stage actor, Mikey is a member of Actor’s Equity and has performed in productions with the Nashville Children’s Theater (Einstein is a Dummy) Nashville Repertory Theater (A Christmas Story, Shakespeare in Love), Hollywood Fringe Festival, (Sewer Rats at Sea), Amios Theater (Shotz!) among others. As a composer/lyricist, Mikey recently received his MFA from the Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program at TISCH NYU, where he acted as the co-president of the Graduate Student Organization. As far as writing, recent musicals and scores include: Metropolitan (music and lyrics, Winner of 2019 Fresh Fruit “Best Musical”), ASHWA (co-composer/lyricist, NYU, 2021), Lovesick (co-composer/lyricist, NYU, 2020), The Red Tomato (co-composer/lyricist, 2020), Tulips (composer, 2020). As a writer for Young Audiences, Mikey’s scores include: The Parable of Pizza (co-composer/lyricist, Lugano, 2021), Same Sky (co-composer/lyricist, Lugano, 2021), The Prince and the Pauper (co-composer/lyricist, Lugano, 2019), Cry Wolf! (co-composer/lyricist, CSA 2017), and Sketch (co-composer/lyricist, Lugano, 2016) plus many more! As a Teaching Artist, Mikey currently acts as the Summer Director of the Performing Arts at The American School in Switzerland.
