Daniel Brian Jones

Daniel Brian Jones is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, NY. He edits FOLDER (www.foldermagazine.com). His writing has appeared in ChronogramWhirlwind Magazine, Opossum Holler Tarot, Blast Furnace, and Modern Poetry Review. Music: Harmonium Songs (a cycle of settings of poems from Stevens’s Harmonium), Little Room (songs), and a cycle of settings of Stanley Kunitz poems, by agreement with the Kunitz Estate. He co-operated Farm Theater Projects, which produced nine original works spanning dance, theater, and music. Among them, his play (with Josh Gulotta) On Tipping, the interdisciplinary Listening, to which he contributed material, and the world premieres of Justin Kuritzkes’s Cheaters, Mara Nelson-Greenberg’s Healthcare, and Sam Alper’s Loveplay. Upcoming: the theatrical world premiere of John Ashbery’s Litany, in collaboration with dancer/choreographer Sarah Haarmann.
