Kid’s Show (Ages 6-7)
Work with a director and a playwright to create and rehearse a short play featuring characters inspired by classic and contemporary fairy-tales, myths, legends, and stories. The emphasis of
this class is on the collaborative rehearsal process, bringing a unique, creative voice to characters, and the fun of preparing for a show. Fundamental elements of acting and performance will be introduced and students will be asked to fully memorize lines. Family and friends will be invited for a workshop performance at the end of the semester.

Kid’s Production (Ages 8-9)
Rehearse an adapted short play, infuse the story with creative inspiration, and add your own individual perspective on the plot, including original characters and dialogue. The emphasis of this class is on the creative rehearsal process and preparing for a show. More advanced staging and acting techniques will be introduced with a greater emphasis on the rehearsal process and final performance. Family and friends will be invited for a performance at the end of the semester.
