Atlantic in LA is an extension of our New York City based school as we are fortunate to have both company members and faculty working in the industry in Los Angeles.  The program offers the West Coast actor an opportunity to learn and apply the Atlantic technique. Exclusive, seasonal offerings in Technique, Scene Study and On Camera classes are held in the West Hollywood/ Hollywood area.

This program provides a powerful entree into the LA market. With a strong emphasis on film and television acting, business and audition skills, networking with working professionals and preparing for an Industry Showcase the graduate will have the tools necessary to confidently enter and navigate the competitive LA industry.

This 7 week program culminates in an Industry Showcase. During the first 6 weeks, days are spent in classes and their rehearsal for the Showcase which will be presented in the 7th week. Faculty includes LA based professional actors, directors, writers and casting directors as well as founding Atlantic Theater Company members such as Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Chris Bauer and David Mamet. This program is designed for those who have completed advanced training with Atlantic, shown proficiency with Practical Aesthetics, remain in good standing with faculty and administration, and show promise as an on camera actor. Applicants who have not trained at Atlantic but are accepted by Admissions will be required to successfully complete the Training Workshop which begins prior to the program.  Admission requires a film audition that will be reviewed by an Atlantic panel.
