MASTER CLASSES

Dates TBA
Designed for graduates of Atlantic's New York School, this class taught by Atlantic Theater Company founding Member Lee Cohn, will serve as a brush up for those with previous experience in the technique. Classes will concentrate on scene study, script analysis, performance technique, and elements of comedic performance. Contact the Admissions Department for application procedures.

Film Technique with Maggie Kiley:
TBD
Tuition: $500

FILM TECHNIQUE is an 8 week film scene study course for Atlantic trained actors looking to further develop and strengthen their practice and understanding of practical aesthetics. Discover how a consistent technique helps the actor navigate the ever-changing landscape of acting for the camera. Class time is split between a focus on script analysis, repetition skills and actual shooting. Students are asked to present work under the pressures of a living set; shooting out of sequence, limited direction, limited time and most importantly an active and at times chaotic environment. All scenes are shot and directed by fellow students. Technical aspects of camera work are addressed as are the literal demands of result oriented takes.
